Food Box Distribution

Temecula Murrieta Rescue Mission distributes food boxes, assorted fruit, vegetables and bread twice a week at two different locations.  Every Thursday afternoon between the hours of 4:00 and 5:00 p.m, we distribute food from the west parking lot of Rancho Community Church located at 31300 Rancho Community Way in Temecula. Then again, every Wednesday between the hours of 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., we distribute food from Calvary Chapel Murrieta located at 24225 Monroe Avenue.  

Each 25 pound food box contains an assortment of non perishable food items to help supplement the needs of a family of four for about a week. In addition, we provide clothing and baby supplies such as diapers, baby food and wipes. Each month, we provide a nice variety of hygiene supplies that include toothbrushes/toothpaste, shampoo, soaps, lotions and more.
 

The need has continued to grow, as we continue to hand out over 6,500 pounds of food each week!  We have been blessed to now have two locations to distribute food, but we also are in critical need of food with the increased demand for food.  We truly value our  dedicated team of volunteers who help to set up and distribute food boxes each week. 

Our food need is CRITICAL!  We are always looking for help with our local community food drives and with the weekly sorting of other distribution efforts.  If you and your friends and neighbors, or organization, would like to get involved in helping a food drive is a fun and important way to help.  It's easy to get involved!
